Orthophoto maps
Drone maps provide excellent detail, accuracy and timeliness. The most detailed maps are approximately 1 mm/pix and are mainly used in archaeology. Normal maps reach an accuracy of 2 – 5 cm/pix and maps of large areas approximately 10 cm/pix.
3D Photogrammetry
Photogrammetry deals with the reconstruction of shapes, measuring dimensions and determining the position of objects that are shown in photographic images.
By combining the images, a so-called cloud of points is created, which can be converted, for example, into a digital surface model (DSM), terrain model (DTM) or a network 3D model.
